Short summary
This paper presents information on physical data collected over the past 47 years by Instituto Nacional de Investigación y Desarrollo Pesquero (INIDEP) research vessels, primarily from the Argentine Continental Shelf. The main objective of this work is to provide access to this important dataset by describing the main characteristics of the instruments used over time, as well as the evolution of sampling, data processing, and quality-control procedures.
