This manuscript presents an intermediate update of the GLODAPS data product. It is well written and provides a clear and detailed overview of the data, applied corrections and the the quality of the data. I suggest to accept this manuscript as is.
I just identified a few small typos.
L39: space missing between than and 1.4
L502: full stop and space missing between adjusted and For nitrate
Table A1: the last cell of no 5013 has a name that runs over 2 lines and cannot be read

Thank you for the kind words. The typos have been fixed, and the row for cruise 5013 has been increased in size to show all the information.

The manuscript presents an intermediate version of the GLODAP data product, including data from 23 new cruises. It provides additions and modifications compared to the previous version. It is well-written and includes clear figures. The methods section accurately assesses quality control procedures for the merged data across the 13 core parameters. This product is highly valuable within the scientific community, facilitating advancements in understanding the variability and long-term evolution of the global ocean. Therefore, I recommend accepting the paper in its current form.
